Lighthouse Beach, located at the very southern tip of the island of Eleuthera, provides the hiker with six miles of pinkish white sand beach, superb snorkeling, sculpted limestone cliffs, and a derelict lighthouse for exploring—all you need is a 4WD and a sense of adventure and you could have this beach all to yourself.
To reach Lighthouse Beach simply follow The Queen’s Highway south as far as it goes—when you reach the sharp right turn towards Bannerman Town, take the dirt road straight ahead for a fun-filled bumpy ride to the best beach on the entire island, and some say in all of The Bahamas.
