Introduction:
Stroove is located on the east coast of the Inishowen peninsula a few miles north of the village of Greencastle off the R238. It is a relatively small beach and is located close to the North Inishowen Natural Heritage Area.

Advises:
All beach users are asked to take care when at the beach, and in particular: • Never swim alone - Or surf, dive or sail unless there is someone with you. Always engage in water activities with family or friends. Tell someone when you will be back.

Get in:
Bus Éireann's buses stop at the town center, "The Diamond", outside the Abbey Hotel. They provide direct bus service to Dublin, Derry, Sligo, & Galway, and connecting service to numerous locations in the country & Northern Ireland.
