Introduction:

The Palouse Falls lies on the Palouse River, about 4 mi (6 km) upstream of the confluence with the Snake River in southeast Washington, United States. The falls are 198 ft (60 m) in height.The falls consists of an upper falls with a drop of ~20 feet which lies 1,000 feet (305 m) north northwest of the main drop, and a lower falls, with a drop of ~180 feet.

Activities:

The park provides one picnic shelter with a table and brazier, seven uncovered braziers, 15 unsheltered picnic tables, and 2-acres of picnicking area. Picnic sites are first come, first served.There are interpretive panels throughout the park about the Ice Age Floods and the creation of the canyon.The park has 11 tent spaces and pit toilet restroom. One tent site is ADA accessible. Sites have no hook-ups. Braziers are available. All campsites are first come, first served.

Camp sites include fire pits with grills, but do not have include utility hook-ups. Campers are encouraged to bring their own firewood to all Washington state parks. Up to eight campers are permitted per site, with additional fees required for extra vehicles. Hiking trails lead to both the waterfall and the Palouse River, which forms the eastern border of the park.
